Social Justice 1 – Ireland 2016

In March 2016 we took 5 Norwegian teenagers along to Glendalough, Ireland for part 1 of this project. For 8 days the young people worked with youth groups from Ireland, France, Lithuania and Macedonia. 30 participants in total. The main topic of the project was human rights, and in this first part we focused largely on gender roles, equality and LGBT. We implemented several interactive activities, including name games, brainstormings, mock debates, as well as concrete exercises such as “Theatre of the Oppressed”.
