Narvik War Museum’s collections contain many items, photographs and other objects with unique stories. In the project “Object of the Month”, we will present a new object each month from the museum’s collection on our website.
Portable heater for vehicles, made in Germany. These heaters were hazardous due to the carbide fuel which is highly flammable. Text on the object: “Katalytofen Original Autowarm D.R.P”. D.R.P. is short for Deutsches Reichspatent (“Patent of the German Empire”), used in 1877-1945.
