Autumn 2020: “Stolen Years: Children in the High North during the Second World War”

The temporary exhibition “Stolen Years: Children in the High North during the Second World War” was shown at Narvik War Museum in the period September 8th 2020 – March 18th 2021.

The temporary exhibition “Stolen Years: Children in the High North during the Second World War” presents stories of and from children who lived in Northern Norway and Northwest Russia (the Soviet Union) during the Second World War. The exhibition commemorates the 75th anniversary of the end of the Second World War and is a common project by the Narvik War and Peace Centre and Murmansk Museum of Regional Studies (Russia). The texts in the exhibition are in Norwegian and English.

The project is supported by the Norwegian Barents Secretariat and the Fritt Ord Foundation.
